VTG Group offers a wide range of rail freight cars – particularly rail tank and modern high-capacity freight cars. We hire out both complete train formations or wagon groups for block train services and individual rail freight cars via our own sales locations and agencies.

Hiring generally involves the provision of wagons from our fleet for a specific period for a set charge per wagon and period. VTG provides the relevant wagons from the works or depot for you with clearly defined features and return modalities. Apart from this standard hire option, we will gladly formulate with you individual solutions to meet your specific needs. Particularly for special requirements, you benefit from our individualized concepts, our experts’ impressive know-how and our highly specialized fleet.

We ensure that the wagons you hire stay in good working order: in the context of our hiring activity, we offer you maintenance and ensure compliance with statutory inspection regulations, as well as providing comprehensive consulting services, individual transport concepts, a “round-the-clock” data service meeting your needs and, of course, continuous quality monitoring. We focus in particular on the specific technical requirements the transported goods place on the wagons. When selecting suitable vehicles we consider special needs with respect to optimal interaction between the wagon and loading/unloading facility – all with a view to establishing a long-term strategic partnership with you.
